Living nightmare

They are thieves
In October, I spoke with a woman who informed me that she could only vacuum two rooms, prepare a meal, and clean up. I have compression fractures in my back and needed my house cleaned, so I canceled my appointment with this lady.
She never even visited my house, and I never signed an agreement. However, on November 25, 2024, Care.com charged my bank account $155.40, $180, and $48 all on the same day. I would never recommend them to anyone. They are supposed to be taking care of the elderly or those who are ill.
These individuals do not have time to monitor their bank accounts because they are worried about their loved ones. I am a victim of identity theft, which is why I was checking my account. I have yet to receive a response from Care.com and I doubt I ever will.
I suppose I'll have to hire a lawyer and prosecute them myself. Regards, an unhappy person.

They SUCK
set up an initial job posting - but never used it.. months later set up a real need posting - paid - and could never contact the 'fake' applicants.. nor could i get any answers from this bullshXt company.. nothing on their site leads to anywhere but pay again.. can't find a cancel button.. and their tele number is a recording to nowhere..
they lost a huge lawsuit with the FTC.. in the millions - how many families did they burn..
if i could find them - they would need their own services...
take your money and hope and find some local people thru hospital and nursing home staff - contacts..
and if anyone finds these 2 clowns - apply 5 minutes of *** for me..

Important question
I paid for my account that I've had for several years now, and all of a sudden, it won't let me log in due to customer service guidelines. I've never had any problems with anyone I've ever cared for. I want answers and this resolved, or I will be contacting my lawyer as I already paid.

Billing
I have had a recurring monthly charge since November 2023 on my bank account, even though my account has been closed. You cannot call and speak to anyone.
All communication is via email. They will respond but do not follow through to resolve the issue.
I will be seeking legal action at this point. I should not have to close my bank account as a result.

I signed up for their service and they charged me. Then they did a background check and said I want eligible. I work in my state as a caregiver presently and have never not passed a background check.
I have never failed a background check and currently work in my state for an agency. Regardless, I won't be receiving their services and I want a refund!

A potential client has contacted me and the message came up weird and I can not answer her.
I received a message from this client providing me with contact information, and I was unable to respond. She also sent a previous message which appeared above my application instead of below it.
The reply message button was grayed out, so I couldn't respond.
I switched to viewing the website instead of the app and was able to respond to that message. Thanks, Julie.

Subscription isn’t working
I paid for the subscription and contacted caregivers. I have not received any response in over 48 hours when I needed immediate senior care for my Dad. This subscription is pricey and not worth the trouble.

I cancelled an appointment with one of your representatives. I even called to verify she received the cancellation.
This was back in October. On November 25, I was charged $155.40, $180, and $48. I never signed a contract and this lady never even came to my house.

I'm paying money and know jobs. Upgrading for jobs still know jobs present responds. I feel like it's a waste of time when the person applying for jobs with qualifications.
The people with accounts care.com should help applicants more better to understand the system. Care.com needs a live number customers can talk with instead a machine.
I'm a dissatisfied customer needing work and paying my money toward the system without any work. Care.com need more representatives to reach out to customers.

I need to speak with someone. Is this fraud?
I can't log into my account. I created an account and I paid for the service, but I can't log in on the app or the website. I would like a refund and wish to cancel my subscription, for this is way too stressful.
I can't contact anyone and all this typing is too much. Please return my money.

If you have the thousands of dollars it would take to hire an attorney, you can stand to lose $284. Why don't you just call your bank, dispute the charges and then immediately close your Care.com account and contact a local business that provides the services you need.
