Account Troubles

Got charged and then denied access to my account. The only way they give you a way to contact someone for help is through your account!!! How am I going to be charged and then denied access to my account for no good reason? And then give me no way to contact anyone? If I keep getting charged next month there will be some serious issues if Im not allowed to use my account. I was excited to sign up and work with them as I have only heard good things but my experience has not gone that way.

Refund

I just contacted a representative and they sent me to another company that I have to give my credit card and that they would charge $1 and that it would be refundable but my bank does not accept it. I am applying for house cleaner or housekepper.

This is the communication I sent: Hello, I'm Luz Trillo, today 2/19/24 I just acquired a membership with you, why am I looking for a job, when I download the application they ask me for social security and I only have ITIN Number and they don't let get in .

So as explained, if it doesn't work for me and I haven't used the membership, can you refund the payment I made? And cancel the membership.

I was visiting the care.com website when I made an account then it asked me to add a subscription. I wanted to join it and see job listings so I put in my information and it charged me for the subscription.

However, nowhere did it say I needed to be 18 until trying to access my account and now I cant even get into my account to cancel. I would love to get a refund as I was not aware of the age restriction and will not be able to use my account but if that is not possible i would appreciate my account being deleted.

I cannot even get into my account to cancel my subscription or delete the account. Thank you.

Awful! The price kept changing on following pages. Not contact info. Canceling isn’t an option shown

Bought a premium membership for $30-ish. In the next few pages, the price after the changed or renewed to $50+ a month. The next page said $60. An employee contacted me wanting. $120. They have no listed phone number. I canceled my subscription but was just downgraded from Premium. Then they texted me saying they didn't have enough info to verify, but they already processed my payment. All my correspondence with them is hidden or trashed.

I have went on my care.com app & applied to AT LEAST 30 different job leads that were supposedly currently available in past 2 months.And not one employer has replied.This is very suspicious at the least & as well I upgraded to a premium customer to get more of an advantage of getting hired.This has not happened. Why pay for something that is not getting me hired.I would be better off putting up flyers in my town.I also googled care.com customer complaints & was surprised with SEVERAL complaints that were very similar to mine on different complaint sites saying Care.com is a SCAM.If I do not get any results to get me hired then I will have no choice but to delete my membership & block any further payment with my bank.I have been a member for some years now but recent experience does not look good for this company. Also after ALL the jobs applied for you would at least think one of them would

I had a nanny (Rachael Nicole Friedman) that recently worked with us watching our child and she was great and did everything she was supposed to and more. She was told not to let my older son have anyone over the house while we were gone.

Apparently he was upset and made this account and made a fraudulent review the other day about Rachael and I need to get this resolved as she is nothing but awesome and didn't do ANYTHING wrong. My son is beyond punished and will be paying her back if she missed any work because of this!!

Please contact me back about this because I am so upset at what he has done. Thank you for your help.

Website challenge

While the founder (s) have this particular concept of this company. Be as it is it definitely has its flaws.1) the website is constantly freezing up or redirecting where it is you would like to be going to.

2) I've only been a member since the end of September 2023 and they have already changed three times the sequence of how you are able to inquire about possible candidates that offer their skills (which now I know to be questionable)? I understand paying a minimal fee to be able to have access in choosing a person who could possibly be a good fit for oneself or a family member(s).However, the hourly fee are flat fees that these potential hieraries are asking for for the better part are as much as if one was really going to go to a real medical facility or to hire a medical educated trained certified individual as well as for the other services they offer. I myself went to this particular site because I am a senior and I am on a very small limited income with very little options to receive the kind of care and service I was seeking. There is something to be said about you do get what you pay for.

I found many profiles of people who were very extremely young not experienced which was identified as not having experience and yet describing themselves in their profiles of yes caring and empathetic. These are important emotional support skills but they are not what I would say life supporting skills. I also found that the one that I did hire. Turned out to be barely 18 years old absolutely no training or even having a job before this and unfortunately as nice as this person was they were not dependable nor trustworthy.

They displayed having their own issues and I don't mean this to be in a cruel sense of judgment. They were a cutter and a burner meaning they cut themselves and they burned themselves and unfortunately this person did not have any problem displaying this issue on their arms. I knew it was a red flag but I also felt empathetic and caring as well. But after 4 opportunities to give a service that I was paying for and never fully received what the value of my investment was and then to have them quit an hour and a half before they were to be once again being responsible to perform in their services as advertised.

Getting a hold of this company is virtually impossible I've had to go through a third party which basically says it all I'm a very pissed off consumer. Entered the chat room stating all I want was a refund it's been a minimum of five or six weeks this membership goes until December 8th 2023 and the only thing I got back from them was the standard they were sorry for the inconvenience to reach out to a technical team via chat communication and send them pictures of what was going on with the screen on their website at the time of it s dysfunction! Well I've already described how I am a senior with very real need in service and I'm also very educated in technology. Had I been able to find a phone number to call customer service this is how I would have approached it.

As it is I vented in a very long email to which they had sent me a link for and then I received back in my email box that the link was no longer monitored so I have no idea if they ever ever even read the list of complaints I was willing and did share so all I can tell you all be very careful and wise don't ask of anything from them two may become your potential employee other than as much as what you would ask of a neighbor to assist you possibly in a situation that yes is very real and can be very difficult and hard. The one thing I will say for this website care their concept is in well-standing meaningful but, it doesn't replace what is truly needed in most situations even child Care or animal Care.

My opinion is the United States medical system and how it has failed us as a nation by placing it in the hands of agencies and insurance companies that don't have anything vested for anybody but themselves and profit! I do view this website as part of the capitalism of this nation and taking advantage of this very situation...

Remember the monies that you invest for these particular services and the fees they ask for them are very comparable to management professional Care for the medical industry. It's like I said earlier you're basically hiring your next door neighbor or their kid it's one thing to have someone to be able to come and sit in your house for a few hours to be with a child or children or to take a pet for a walk but when it comes to caring for a person who is depending on someone else to not only have kindness and respect but the knowledge and the skills to possibly save their life.

Site and app have been down for over 48 hours and there is no way to reach any live person at customer service. A msg says to go to the website which of course doesn't load. Waste of money for a service I can't even access. This is a scam and they should be charged with fraud in a class action suit.
